Our mission
Accelerate innovation. Enhance patient outcomes.
Our mission is to accelerate innovation and enhance patient outcomes by connecting people, data, and technology.
Our vision
We envision a future where serving patients is effortless.
What "effortless" means
Not simple. Healthcare will never be simple.
Effortless in one specific sense: the work of serving a patient stops being dominated by the work of coordinating around them.
A practice administrator calls a plan to confirm a benefit the plan's own system already knows. An oncologist waits on an authorization for a regimen that meets every published guideline. A nurse re-enters data that exists in three other systems. A medical director reviews a case that never needed review.
None of that is care. All of it is friction, and almost all of it exists because information stopped at an organizational boundary.

The mission, clause by clause
Three commitments, and what each one obliges us to do.
Every part of the sentence carries weight. Here is what each one actually requires.
-
Accelerate innovation
We are not the source of every idea. Our businesses have their own product leadership and their own read on their markets. What we contribute is the conditions that let good ideas reach customers faster. Those conditions are capital, distribution, and infrastructure nobody has to rebuild.
-
Enhance patient outcomes
The chain from an administrative workflow to a clinical outcome is real, if indirect. When an authorization decision takes hours instead of a week, treatment starts sooner. When a regimen is validated against current evidence at the point of prescription, the patient receives care that reflects what is actually known.
-
Connect people, data, and technology
This is the method, and it is why we are structured the way we are. A data integration no workflow accommodates does not move information. A workflow clinicians will not use does not change decisions. The connection is the product.
How we do it
A connected network, not a conglomerate.
Healthcare technology has a well-documented consolidation pattern. We deliberately do the opposite.
The usual instinct
Merge everything into a platform
Acquire adjacent products, unify the data model, put it all behind one login, and market the result as a platform. The theory is elegant.
In practice the merged roadmap drifts away from every individual market it was assembled from, integration absorbs years of engineering capacity, and customers who liked the original product find themselves migrating to something they never asked for.
What we do instead
Independent businesses, shared network
Each solution keeps its own product leadership, contracts, and release cadence. We do not force migrations.
We centralize only where scale genuinely compounds, which covers security and compliance posture, shared infrastructure, capital allocation, and access to relationships that took decades to build.
A health plan can buy NaviNet® without inheriting a platform commitment, and add Eviti® later without a migration.

The operative phrase
Problems no single company can solve alone.
Some problems in healthcare are genuinely beyond the reach of any one company, not because the technology is hard, but because solving them requires standing on both sides of a relationship at once.
Prior authorization is the clearest example. It cannot be fixed by a payer product alone, because providers will not adopt what does not fit their day. It cannot be fixed by a provider product alone, because the decision rules belong to the plan.
It gets fixed in the space between, by something both sides already trust. That space is where we work.
What we hold ourselves to
Four commitments, written to be checkable.
Independence is preserved. Each business keeps its own roadmap, customers, and product leadership. We do not force migrations.
Evidence stays independent of commerce. Eviti®'s treatment standards are maintained by practising clinicians, and NantIQ® holds no financial interest in the drugs or regimens displayed.
Security is not a per-product decision. HIPAA obligations and HITRUST certification are held to one standard across the network.
Friction is the metric. Transactions moved from manual to electronic, authorization turnaround, time from decision to treatment. If those numbers are not moving, the work is not landing.
We invest in the solutions. We connect the capabilities. We focus on the outcomes. We are NantIQ®.
About the mission
-
It means the three are treated as one problem rather than three. A data integration that no one's workflow accommodates does not move information. A workflow that clinicians will not use does not change decisions. Technology that ignores the relationship between the two organizations using it does not get adopted. Our solutions are built where all three meet.
-
Both, deliberately. We hold and invest in the businesses in the network, and we operate as a partner to them, supplying strategy, shared infrastructure, compliance posture, and access to relationships. What we do not do is merge them into a single platform or override their product roadmaps.
-
Three tests. It has to serve a real healthcare market with real customers and genuine domain expertise. It has to get materially better with access to our network of relationships and infrastructure. And its outcome has to be measurable in terms of friction removed for payers, providers, or patients.
-
It is a direction, not a claim about today. The people who serve patients, including clinicians, care teams, and plan staff, spend an enormous share of their working lives on coordination that adds nothing clinically. Effortless means that share keeps shrinking.
